ISR Swimming Lesson

This week Alex will take his last ISR (Infant Swimming and Response) swimming lesson when he demonstrates that he can get out of the pool by himself while wearing a long sleeve shirt, long pants and shoes! The video below is from a few weeks ago about midway through the course.

I highly recommend these classes for young children and even infants as young as 6 months, they're amazing! They can be found at www.infantswim.com. Alex has no fear of the water (he wasn't particularly afraid before, but he didn't like to put his head underwater) and has learned how to get out of the pool if he falls in. As a side benefit, he *loves* to swim and jump in the pool now!

Old McAlex had a farm...

We have started taking Alex's friends with us to visit Mickey Pony (one friend at a time). Today was Ava's turn, since they are moving in a few weeks (Alex is going to be heartbroken). They shared very nicely today, and even rode Mickey together (and look like models).
