South Florida pics and pool playgroup pics

Here are a whole bunch of picsefrom when we were in South Florida, and from a pool playgroup yesterday. I will label and go through them tonight; I just wanted to get them off of the camera.

Lion Country Safari

Today we went to Lion Country Safari. It was a lot of fun, except for the heat and humidity! We enjoyed the part in the car...several zebras crossed the road back and forth in front of us, which Alex thought was funny. However, his favorite part of the day was the merry-go-round!

Alex is taking his first steps, and we attempted to get some footage of him walking last night. He wasn't overly cooperative, but you can see that he's starting to get the hang of it!

We went to the zucchini festival in Windsor today (a tiny town east of Gainesville). True to "rural" Central Florida, there were pony rides, bull rides, and lots of arts and crafts. Alex had a wonderful time with all of the animals...I think he has a future career in something animal-related, since his attention span is amazing (a dog show lasted fifteen minutes, and he started and concentrated the whole time!)
