Mommy's group

Thank goodness NFRMC created the mommy's luncheon! As a stay-at-home mom, I would go stir-crazy if I didn't have those luncheons and playgroups to go to. Last night we went to the Melting Pot for a mom's night out. It was the dream dessert night. We ordered all of the desserts on the menu, and every 5 minutes, we all stood up and rotated three seats to the left, so we each got to try all of the desserts!!!

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin' . . .

Alex has now figured out how to hold his head up while on his stomach, and has also learned to roll over! He only started yesterday, so it's still a lot of work for him, but I guess we all have to start somewhere. He ends up rather unhappy in the video I have of him below, but typically he's very happy once he gets himself over.

P.S. how many of you fondly remember this Save Ferris song? ;-) Ahh, the 80's . . .

Alex's 1st Slide show!

So I'm starting to get this youtube thing down, and I uploaded a short video of some of the pics from the baby naming. The final slide seems to be a favorite ;-).

Baby Naming Pics

Well, the baby naming weekend was a resounding success! Many, many pictures were taken, most of which we haven't gotten back yet. Here are a few samplers to hold everyone over ;-)

Here's Alex being very well-behaved on my arm during the naming ceremony:

The temple's sanctuary where the ceremony was held has gorgeous stained glass windows. Ginny had the idea to take a nice silhouette shot in front of one.

Here's Alex, Ginny, Ronna (Ginny's Mom), and Ginny's Grandma Leah.

My mother takes a turn with Alex who seems to be enjoying the attention!

Alex picked a good weekend to really begin smiling. We should be getting some really good shots from a portrait shoot Lisa (a friend of Ginny's) did just before the ceremony. But my mother managed to snap a good one later in the weekend:

I'll post more (especially from Lisa's shoot) once we get them.
